About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architecture leadership, governance, and assurance across a major ERP transformation program.

Working closely with program leadership, enterprise architecture teams, cyber security, IT operations, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners, you will ensure that ERP solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, digital strategy, security requirements, cloud direction, and long-term operating models.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that platform designs, integrations, data architecture, identity management, and transition strategies support a secure, sustainable, and future-ready digital enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artefacts across business, application, data, technology, and security domains.
• Provide architecture leadership and governance throughout the ERP program lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment of Workday, ServiceNow, and implementation partner solutions with enterprise architecture principles and technology roadmaps.
• Prepare architecture advice, decision papers, governance documentation, and executive-level presentations for architecture and program boards.
• Identify architecture risks, issues, dependencies, and decision points requiring executive or technical resolution.
• Lead architecture activities across integrations, identity management, reporting, monitoring, data exchange, and operational support functions.
• Define and assure cross-platform architecture patterns and enterprise integration standards.
• Support legacy system modernisation and decommissioning strategies, including transition planning and dependency management.
• Review and assure solution designs from implementation partners across architecture, integration, environments, data migration, and operational readiness.
• Provide enterprise-wide assurance that platform designs meet security, cloud, service management, records management, and operational support requirements.
• Support ERP integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, monitoring, and support models.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and identity teams to ensure appropriate access controls, segregation of duties, monitoring, logging, and compliance requirements are embedded into solution designs.
• Provide oversight of data architecture, including data ownership, migration, quality, governance, reporting, metadata, and retention requirements.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect within large-scale ERP or enterprise transformation programs.
• Proven background providing architecture governance, assurance, and leadership across complex business and technology environments.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, or similar solutions.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture, API strategies, middleware platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience across identity and access management, cybersecurity, data architecture, reporting, and operational support models.
• Strong understanding of solution transition, service management, and legacy application decommissioning.
• Experience working with implementation partners, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present architecture recommendations and influence senior decision-makers.
• Experience within large enterprise, government, or highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
